By Reverend Simone Lord
In the beginning God created the earth from a thought, he spoke the earth into existence. He spoke light, he created man and woman from nothing. And He said something to the man and woman he created from dirt.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28
Now let’s fast forward, here some of us are. With nothing. No money, no wealth, no home, no car, some have no job some have no family, no love.
It’s easy to get depressed when you have nothing. But look again. You have much more than you think. And do you have dirt? Look at what God, our creator did with a bit of dirt. He created life. And consider that you are made in His image. As long as you have life and a working brain, you have hope.
You can dream up a reality for yourself and go about creating it.
So you have no money. God didn’t either. He used thoughts and words and actions. Your thoughts and words and actions will create your wealth or your poverty. It’s your decision. So you see wealth begins inside and it is a choice. So too are happiness and joy.
You can choose to see yourself as wealthy or you can continue to see yourself as poor and without.
As long as you believe you are rich, these thoughts will find a way to manifest outwardly. That’s faith in action. You will say to the mountain, move and it shall move. Your faith attracts blessings. The bigger the faith the greater the blessings.
So dream up big dreams, think big ideas. President Trump said you are going to be thinking anyway, why not think big. You serve a big God.
God is waiting for you to move, when you move, He moves. I have found great favor in volunteering. Things happen when you step out and volunteer. You meet people who are doing something big and you help them, their grace and favor falls on you. So it’s not always about the big job. It’s about what you have to offer to the world.
Money is worthless paper. It was invented to be a means of exchange and a storage of wealth. If we went back to the barter system, would you be wealthy or poor? You would take your stuff to exchange for what you need. Each person has a gift, something to exchange, that’s how you conducted barter. You brought whatever you had out to the market or world, and you got what you needed from the other person.
So what is your gift? What can you do or make to exchange for the things you need? If you are unable to make anything,or if you are not making anything, you will be poor. Same situation with money. If you are not making or doing something that people need or want, you will be poor.
Your product and service must then be taken outside of your home to the world. Unless you have a store or set up shop in your home they won’t come to get it. So you have to go outside and tell them show what you have. Examples, Beyonce has great wealth. She used her gift, she sings for a living. People like her gift and they pay for her CDs. Take Donald Trump, our President at this time. He started off in real estate. He had a rich dad. S0 do you. He started off with 1 million. You need a plan. Proverbs 21:5 says,” The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty.”
What do you have home that you can start with? Maybe you only have dirt, but look at what God made with dirt? Civilization. Start living the life you are meant to live. Don’t wait. Start living today. You will need the following: Ideas, Pen and Paper to write down the ideas, prayer for a strategic plan, courage, what if you fail? Failing brings you closer to victory. You will need faith to step out on a limb. You will need determination and persistence, what if the people don’t want to buy what you’re selling? Someone will keep going. You will need wisdom and discernment to tweak your plan or product or services to meet the needs of the public.
Take Jesus as your business partner, he said, “You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.” Phil 4:13
